Quick tip: Valentine's Day Fashion!

Hey lovelies, it’s Sam here with another Quick Tip! We are going to have four different categories for our Valentine’s looks today! Those categories are: formal, spunky, sweet and casual.  These different styles will fit for all sorts of different occasions, so let’s get started!

Look number one: Formal chic
This stunning look is perfect for a fancy Valentine’s dinner, and easy to recreate! All of these items can be found at H&M, Khols and Forever 21. For the hair, toss in some loose curls with a curling wand or iron and apply hair spray.

Look number two: Spunky
Whether you’re going to the mall, or hanging out with friends, this outfit will give you a bold new look! These items can also be found at forever 21 and Pacson. To get this wavy hairstyle, dampen your hair before bed and braid four sections of your whole head. Leave them in overnight and take them out after you wake up (for extra volume, brush out the waves and follow up with blow drying).

Look number three: Sweet
This look is perfect for a lunch date and will add some class to your look! You can find all these items at Target and Rue 21. For this hairstyle, flatiron your hair, and clip two sections from the front of your face to the back of your hair!

Look number four: Casual

This look gives a pop to your everyday look and makes a statement with its color and print! All of these items can be found at Target or H&M. For make-up, try your regular routine, with a red lip pencil, and a natural Smokey eye!

Quick Tip Series: Tips To Take Care of Your Skin

Hey guys! So, lately we've been getting a lot of questions through our email from you, our readers, and the most popular was along the lines of “How do I take care of my skin?” I've got a few good tips for taking care of skin.

Water: That’s right! The old “Drink eight cups a day” works like a charm. Not only does it keep our insides in tip-top shape, it clears up the skin.

Cleanser: Cleansing the skin is the most known way to clear skin. Try avoiding harsh cleansers, the kind that with just one squirt can seem like we just washed our face 10 times in a row. Gentle cleansers with, if we must, light scents like grapefruit, don’t clog up the skin with oils in the formula or over dry. However, while cleansing is great, too much will actually do the opposite of what we’re trying to achieve. If you have oily skin and over cleanse, it can cause the skin to produce more oil summing up to more break outs. Over cleansing can also lead to drying the skin out and skin scaring. What I've gathered from people with varying skin types is a consensus that Neutrogena is pretty good.
*TIP: When washing your face, scrub in a small, circular motion around your face

No makeup days: Taking a day or two off from wearing makeup allows our skin a well-deserved break from pour-clogging foundations and tugging and pulling that occur during application.

There you go guys! Just a few of the best and easiest skin tips that really work. Let us know your thoughts, suggestions, and ask us your questions!

As always, it was a pleasure blogging for you,

Shoes: Almost too Much, or Hording?

Hi lovelies! Sam here, to chat about shoes!
I’m the kind of girl who can talk about shoes until the day I die!! I mean, shoes are a beautiful thing! The only problem is that we can be obsessive sometimes, but it’s alright!  We can be your shoe therapist!  So here’s the question, how much is too much? Well here’s a guide to shoes!

Step one! Before you go buy more shoes, make a list and of how many pairs you already have! At the top of the list write how many pairs you have in each color, then how many types you have of what shoes (flats, heels, sandals, etc.) you own.

Step two! LET GO OF WHAT YOU DON’T NEED! I cannot stress this enough! When people become so attached to things like shoes, it becomes extremely hard to let go of them! You have to remember that you can’t take your fifty pairs of stilettos with you, when you die!  When you’re going through your shoes, remember that they aren’t your life.

Step three! So what do you do with all the shoes you’re getting rid of? Well, you have a few options. If you have a friend or family member in your size you can give them a few of yours, you can take them to goodwill-you can even give them to a thrift store! The point is, you can do several different things with the items you don’t need, and give at the same time!

Step four!  The question we have had since the very beginning is how many shoes we should have!  So you should only have to have one to two organizers at the max! There is a type of shoe holder  that can be hung up on your closet door, and-BAM! You have your personal shoe display! You can find these shoe holders at Walmart and Target!

Step five! Once you are finished and have your shoes hung up, count how many pairs you have after, and write that at the bottom of your list!

We hope that you can try our ideas, and if you ever need advice or want us to cover any topics, post a comment or send us an email at go.lovely101@gmail.com Goodbye, lovelies!
